Bags of ideas

(Photograph) - Pupils in the first two years at Park primary, Alloa, have been given home-link bags to strengthen parents' involvement in early reading. Not one bag was lost in the first year of the initiative. Anne Pearson, the school's headteacher, said: "It has elevated the position of homework and that is important.
