Basil pops up in leadership college

There is no question that with devolvement of powers and budgets the role of the headteacher has become an increasingly important one.

I therefore read with interest Michael Barber's account of the launch of the Ntional College for School Leadership. Why, however, does an image of John Cleese as Basil Fawlty come inescapably to mind as I ponder this concept,I wonder?
