Become a web designer

15th October 2004 at 01:00
An exclusive trip to the set of a TV show is among the prizes up for grabs in a website-design competition being run by Channel 4. The event is open to 13 to 19-year-olds, who can enter individually or as teams of up to three people. A free CD-Rom is available to teachers containing lesson plans, which are adaptable for any curriculum subject, and a library of video, images and sounds. The library is also accessible to entrants, as well as an A-Z of internet jargon. The competition closes on December 17.
