Big it up for Aberdeen

Aberdeen University says it is contributing pound;508 million to the Scottish economy, including pound;377m every year to the economy of the north- east of Scotland. An independent assessment from BiGGAR Economics based its calculations on staff and student spending, spin-off companies from the commercialisation of university research, the use of accommodation for conferences and the benefits of construction projects.
