Big win for tiny school

A tiny west Wales primary has beaten more than 6,000 schools across the UK to win a set of solar panels for their eco-friendly efforts. Despite only having 21 pupils, Ysgol Gynradd Gymunedol Lledrod near Aberystwyth, won the British Gas Generation Green #163;25,000 prize. Pupils and staff have been growing fruit and vegetables, recycling, composting and turning off equipment and lights when not needed.
