Birbalsingh plans free school

Katharine Birbalsingh, the teacher unable to find a job after speaking at the Conservative party conference, has said Wellington College head Anthony Seldon is helping her open a free school. She wants Michaela Community School to open in Lambeth, south London, by September 2012. Tony Sewell, an expert on the achievement of black boys, is also said to be involved.
