Breakfast milestone

Celebrations to mark the 500th school to sign up to the Assembly government's free breakfast initiative were marred this week after the Welsh conservatives claimed that more than half of all primary schools would have rejected the scheme by the end of 2007. First Minister Rhodri Morgan visited Ysgol Pen-y-Garth, in Penarth, to present a certificate.
