Breathing life into sick old London

The department of epidemiology at the University of California pays tribute to Victorian epidemiologist John Snow. Snow helped to deal with some of the public health issues of his time incuding cholera. The jewels of the site are the London maps, straight from 1859 and later and they come off the screen better than an A to Z.
