On July 22 I went into my local WH Smith's and there were stacks of stationery with stickers saying "Back To School".

Yet schools in Hove, where I live, and Surrey, where I work, had still not broken up. Please let children and teachers enjoy some of the holidays before reminding them of the start of a new term!
