The following exchange was overheard at a football match by one heidie who commendably passed it on for further circulation.

"What do you think of the proposal that classroom assistants might be taking on some of our teaching duties?" asked spectator.

"Fine. They could get on with the teaching and we can concentrate on the photocopying."
