College students thinking of skiving off, beware. Registers, a registration software package launched last month, can identify early leavers, report on individual student attendance, popularity of courses and specify rooms used most often and by whom. It is a stand-alone product that works with existing college information system data. The package costs pound;9,970, including training and installation.
