BT bows to price pressure

Reacting to mounting criticism, BT last month announced unmetered Internet access plans. BT Surftime gives unlimited access for pound;34.99 a month, with daytime use on weekdays priced at pound;26.99. Evenings onl and weekends only will be pound;6.99 each. Critics say the charges are still too high. Use outside these times will cost 2p a minute on weekdays and 1p at night or weekends.
