JULIA MARGARET CAMERON: 19TH CENTURY PHOTOGRAPHER OF GENIUS (1815-79)
Charles Dickens, Alfred Tennyson and Ellen Terry were among the eminent Victorians captured by Cameron's camera. She began working seriously with photography at the age of 48 and within 15 years had produced a remarkable body of artistic work. This exhibition includes portraits and theatrical scenes inspired by painting and literature. Venue: National Museum of Photography, Film and Television, Bradford.
