Bullied girls opt out

Girls miss as much as six months of their education because of severe bullying, according to a survey by the charity Rathbone. Half of all those who suffer verbal, physical and online abuse stay away from school, some for up to 24 weeks. Researchers surveyed 60 young women aged between 15 and 22.
