Time for Tessilinx

Jersey teachers Louise Warran and Susie Marett were looking for a way to liven up primary PSHE lessons and harness their pupils' creative skills.

So, they roped in local artist Andy Thompson and Alex Janvrin, their author friend, to write some stories based around the learning outcomes for key stage 1. The result is Tessilinx - a set of 35 stories in two books, Myself and Others and My World.

They feature Tessi and Linx who join the children for a journey through the puzzles and challenges of a maze, exploring key life skills along the way.

Each set comes with a CD with a range of character cards, teachers' notes and photocopiable worksheets.
