Call for better sport in schools

A school sport strategy dropped by Westminster education secretary Michael Gove led to "considerable improvements" in PE and sport in schools, a report by Ofsted has found. The survey also warned that ministers must invest in a new school sport programme or they would fail to capitalise on the sporting legacy left by last summer's Olympics.
