Canvas Holidays is offering TES readers a seven-night, self-drive trip to Europe at summer half-term from pound;299 for a family of six (two adults and up to four children), including ferry crossings to France. Pick from 108 resorts in Italy, Croatia, Spain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Holland and Luxembourg. Choose a three-bedroom tent (from pound;299, 20 per cent off regular price) or a luxury mobile home (from pound;419, 15 per cent discount). Each sleeps six in comfort and comes fully equipped with sprung beds, a four-burner cooker and full-sized fridge, as well as a barbecue and set of patio furniture. The campsites have pool complexes, and most have free children's clubs.

The TES special offer for holidays taken between May 17 and June 23 includes return Dover-Calais crossings by ferry, or you can book an alternative crossing for a supplement. If you are booking your own flights and want accommodation only, deduct pound;60 from the holiday price.
