One in 10 workers is considering a career in teaching according to new figures released this week. Statistics from the Training and Development Agency for Schools reveal that there has been a 45 per cent increase in online enquiries about teaching since the start of the year. The agency's chief executive, Graham Holley, said: "We're seeing an unprecedented and sustained rise in enquiries about teaching. Over 1,000 people have visited our 'city seminars' for those in the financial sector considering teaching, and our new TDA Facebook pages are receiving up to 2,700 views per day."
