Caring schools get tough

Posters telling parents they will be prosecuted if they abuse teachers were sent to thousands of schools this week.

The National Association of Head Teachers provided the colour posters, headlined "Welcome to our caring school", for all its 30,000 members. The NAHT said the posters were meant to reassure pupils and staff that their schools were safe.
