Cash for Scots

Millions of pounds have beengiven to Scottish schools from the New Opportunities Fund. More than pound;3.5 million is to be spent on after-hours tuition and child-care facilities. Some pound;2.9 mllion will go to providing after-school teaching at 180 schools in Glasgow. The NOF distributes National Lottery money to education, health and environment projects in the UK.
