I AM delighted that specialist schools appear to have done so well. It is a clear indication that additional funding does make a difference. As it is obviously a large factor in schools' exam success, the performance tables need to include a figure for each school that relats performance to the level of funding. Dividing the amount of money available to each school per pupil by the average points score for GCSE would be a revealing exercise.
