All Catholic schools are being sent advice on how to promote community cohesion. The Catholic Education Service is giving guidance to help schools prepare before they are inspected on the duty this September. Oona Stannard, the service's chief executive, said: "If we don't define ourselves, others will do it for us. We have to be transparent about what a Catholic education has to offer the whole community."
