Channel 4 aims for hat-trick

3rd November 2006 at 00:00
Everyone wants "celeb" newscasters these days. Krishnan may have got STAR billing this week. But later this month it is the turn of his Channel 4 News sidekick Alex Thomson - yes the brother of QIA boss - to take the podium at the Association of Colleges' annual conference in Birmingham.

FErret understands that their boss Jon Snow doesn't want to miss out and is now looking for a piece of FE action. How about a slot at the fourth STAR Awards ceremony? Provided there is one. Any other bright ideas?
