Four graduates are first to achieve Chartered Manager status

Four graduates of the Principals Qualifying Programme have become the first also to achieve Chartered Manager status with Fellowship of the Chartered Management Institute. Frances Wadsworth of East Surrey College, Jacqui Mace of Stanmore College, Martin Penny of Stratford-upon-Avon College and Kevin Finnigan of Prospects Group benefited from a new fast- track route to professional status devised by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service and the Chartered Management Institute. The candidates will undertake a three-yearly review, involving submission of fresh evidence of ongoing organisational impact, to retain their chartered status.
