Check out for the Chiller Thriller competition, which urges seven to 16-year-olds to complete a scary story started by Peter J Murray, former assistant head of Cheam school, Surrey and creator of the Mokee Joe stories and a new series starting with Bonebreaker (Hodder Children's Books). Four regional winners will be selected for a Borders anthology. Closing date July 30.
