Childhood conference

The findings of two inquiries into children's lives will be discussed by experts in London on Monday. "Childhood, Wellbeing and Primary Education" is being hosted by the General Teaching Council. Professor Robin Alexander, of Cambridge University, will speak about the Primary Review, and Bob Reitemeier, chief executive of the Children's Society, will talk about the "Good Childhood Inquiry", which aims to identify the conditions of a good childhood and how to achieve it.
