Scotland's greatest authority - Clackmannanshire - is at it again. As we noted last week, Alison Lindsay, the SNP education convener, believes it to be the leading administration in the world, or at least around the Alloa area.

In line with this renown, we are delighted to point out (page five) how it is leading the way on philosophy in primaries. Not so much Socrates, more Sauchie-rates.
