Cold Feet star to launch Teaching Awards

NOMINATIONS for the 2001 Teaching Awards were launched this week by ITV's Cold Feet star James Nesbitt. The deadline for the awards, which are open to all schools in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, is March 14 and every online nominationwill be entered in a prize draw to win a digital camera worth pound;500. A venue for the event in October has yet to be chosen. Once again the event is to be broadcast by the BBC. Nomination forms can be found at www.teachingawards.com.
