College merger

High Pavement sixth-form college in Nottingham has agreed to join in with a planned new college consortium of two neighbouring colleges - Clarendon and Basford Hall. Merger will come in stages if Further Education Funding Council approval is given. It will become an "associate" member this autumn and a full member of the group next September.
