Combined campus

Another combination of further and higher education in the south of Scotland came a step nearer when Nicol Stephen, the Lifelong Learning Minister, presided over a ground-breaking ceremony to launch a pound;31 million project in Galashiels which will house a single campus for Borders College and Heriot-Watt University. Work is due to be completed in 2008 for almost 9,000 enrolments.
