Comfy furniture

We acknowledge that there were difficulties getting funding for The Furniture Recycling Project ("Furniture charity funds get the chop", FE Focus, June 8) but these were due entirely to the previous funding system.

The project has a good relationship with the Learning and Skills Council and future funding has been secured through the local initiative fund. The council aims to work with the project to secure its future.
