Comics' lessons on development

With the help of Lenny Henry, Tony Robinson (Baldrick in Blackadder), Peter Snow and others, Comic Relief has come up with Teacher Relief 2: The Global Citizen, an interactive teaching pack devoted to development issues at key stage 34, which will be available from January. Topics include: Africa in the news, a journey through Tanzania to track down the underlying causes of poverty in Africa, colonial history and international trade and debt.

On the original Teacher Relief video pack was aimed at eight to 11-year-olds, with stories about people helped by Comic Relief-supported projects. Pounds 14.50 each from: Charity Projects, 1st floor, 74 New Oxford Street, London WC1A 1EF.
