ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM MANAGEMENT AWARD The World Wide Fund for Nature has up to Pounds 6,000 available "to schools wishing to work towards an environmental programme which will develop in pupils the skills, knowledge and attitudes to enable them to make choices for a sustainable future". INTERNATIONAL LITERARY COMPETITION The Krzyzowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe invites young people to write up to four A4 pages (in English, Polish or German) on "Are we necessary in Europe? Reflections about the role of the culture and traditions of my country in the creation of a united Europe". Closing date: February 10.
