Yorkshire sixth-formers, college and university students are invited to produce a 4,000-word project on any aspect of exporting, based on a study of a local Yorkshire company. The IoD and Leeds Business School will give practical support. Judging takes place in spring and the winners set off in June on a three-day trip to Brussels to see the European Commission, European Parliament and British business community in action. Entrants should register interest this month with Di Burton, 01423 770256.
