The annual Schools Aerospace Challenge, run by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, invites teams of students aged 16-19 to offer ideas by May 23 for a design of the future. The best teams attend residential courses at the School of Engineering, Cranfield University, in August and the winners receive Pounds 5,000 to share with their institution.
