HIGHLAND has been given almost 200 computers by Barmac, the oil industry fabricators and one of the largest local private employers.

Machines that were used in the company's offices and engineering sections are likely to be used for business studies, technology and computing in schools within a 50 mile radius of Ardersier and Nigg. The deal is worth around Pounds 150,000.
