* Primary teachers, advisers, inspectors, teacher trainers and development education practitioners are invited to Global perspectives tried and tested: sharing our practice and communicating it to policy makers at Harborne Hall, Birmingham, October 30-November 1. Organised by Voluntary Service Overseas, the aim is to communicate ideas to the Department for Education and the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. The fee is on a sliding scale Pounds 30-Pounds 60 and funding is available for travel.
