APRIL 12 ENID BLYTON (1897-1997) A celebration and reappraisal of Britain's most-read children's writer. Organised by the National Centre for Research in Children's Literature. For all for whom Blyton was or continues to be a major if flawed literary figure. Speakers include children's novelists Anne Fine and Helen Cresswell, and Professor Fred Inglis of Warwick University. APRIL 25-27 ADULT EDUCATION: THE PROCESS OF LEARNING Organised by Educational Centres Association at Grosvenor House Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon.
