More appropriate names to conjure with. They say statistics are lies and more damned lies. Obviously Mal Cooke, the Scottish Executive's statistician, would not subscribe to the fiddling the figures theory.

Meanwhile, we note the insurance company Zurich Municipal's call for sprinklers in schools to limit the damage caused by the increasing number of fires. Larry Stokes is the underwriting manager.
