JUNE 30-JULY 1: PRIMARY FILM DAYS

Film Education is inviting localprimary teachers to these sessions in Liverpool. The programme kicks off with a free In-Cinema meeting at the Virgin Cinema where manager, Derek Wainwright, will explain how a school's local cinema can be used as an educational resource. Thefollowing day a course on "Visualliteracy: using film in the classroom" will be held at the ForteGladstone Hotel, accompanied by useful film clips and a section on "literacy hour". Fee: pound;95.
