The Scottish Cricket Union has issued more guidelines on the number of overs schools players should be bowling to combat the danger of "burn-out" from too much cricket. It is recommended that at uner-13 level any one player bowl a maximum of eight overs a day, at under-15 no more than 10 overs, at under-17 level up to 18 overs and at under-19, the guide is 21 overs a day maximum.
