The Stanley Morrison Trust's Adopt a Primary School scheme has won recognition for Scottish cricket at the International Cricket Council's development programme awards for 2004. The scheme, which has been running for 15 years in Scotland and is credited with introducing about 75,000 primary schoolchildren to the game, came out top in the ICC's best overall cricket development programme category.
