Crocodile tears

I AM sure that colleagues who read of the hardship suffered by Office for Standards in Education Inspectors (TES, March 24) will wish to express their sympathy.

How sorry we are for Mr Henderson who is owed pound;5,800 and who has not rceived a penny for the 18 hours a day he put in. Perhaps teachers might like to join me in a whip-round to compensate Mr Henderson et al for their losses?
