Cross country

27th April 2007 at 01:00
Budding athletes from all over Scotland will descend on Fife tomorrow for the Scottish Power Scottish Primary Schools' Cross Country Championships at Kirkcaldy High. The event is one of the highlights of the schools' calendar and marks the end of the cross-country season. Separate boys' and girls'

races will be held for P6 and P7 pupils over a 1,600m course. Scottish Athletics last month chose Bell Baxter High in Cupar to re-launch its grassroots programme.
