Cross-curricular focus

The annual conference of the National Association for the Teaching of English will be held on April 1 to 4 at the University of York. Called Message from the Classroom, it will focus on cross-curricular issues, exploring them in relation to the teaching of English, drama and media studies.

It will cover student motivation and classroom management. Workshops will also be held. Activities will be provided for seven to 12-year-olds.

Anyone interested in teaching English, media or drama can attend. It costs Pounds 260 for NATE members, and Pounds 295 for non members.
