As a member of the Wodehouse Society, the account of bread-throwing high jinks at Trinity Hall in 1982 took me back ("A bunfight in a bastion of privilege", 23 December). Did William Richardson or any of his colleagues at the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference ever think of applying to the Drones Club?
