CTC may fund academy

A SHROPSHIRE school is considering sponsoring a City Academy with a multi-million pound windfall from selling its online ICT course. Thomas Telford, a city technology college famous for achieving a 100 per ent GCSE pass rate, next year expects 820 sales of the pound;3,000 course, bringing in some pound;2.5m. It will use the money to develop the school but also to support a new City Academy in its local area.
