Curfew error

Jack Straw, the Home Secretary, admitted that curfew orders for children aged under 10 were a mistake.

He told the BBC's On the Record that the orders should have targeted teenagers up to the age of 16. The Ciminal Justice and Police Bill will raise the age limit of local curfews from 10 to 16 with a 10pm curfew for under-13s Reports compiled by Diane Spencer with the help of the National Children's Bureau
