SPOTTED in the sits vac section of the Western Daily Press: an ad from a national learning and leisure organisation for "a successful sales executive" to join a team of "highly valued travel advisers responsible for introducing leading edge' curriculum-based children's IT and field study residential curses to teachers".

As many a jaundiced teacher wishing to join the escape committee knows, this kind of course can prove to be just that.
