Cuts can't dampen our spirits

While the sector digests the initial impact of the comprehensive spending review, preparations for WorldSkills London 2011 are a reminder of the value of FE in stimulating young people's aspirations.

This week's Squad UK selection event, which took place across three Midlands colleges, saw young people from around the country competing to represent the UK at the world's premier skills competition.
